One of my greatest joys in life is to make people feel good. The reason I love hair and make-up (other than my passion to create) is because it helps women feel beautiful and empowered. In addition to my career as an artist, I have also volunteered with many different organizations since I was 11 years old.
This past spring The Wedding Café partnered with Kapi’olani Hospital to bless a group of teen girls with a night of beauty makeovers… wardrobe included! I had the pleasure of meeting and being inspired by these brave young women when I worked on their hair and make-up. Their ability to smile in the midst of such adversity is truly amazing.
One of the lovely girls named Cassia passed away recently and I just wanted to do a quick blog to let her know that she is not forgotten. I pray from the bottom of my heart that her family will rest in the comfort of God knowing that their darling daughter has returned home. Cassia you will be missed. Xoxo.

It’s a real pleasure to find someone who can think like that

NATALIA!!!! Oh my gosh, you don’t know how happy I am that you loved this sequel! So many popele keep saying that Crossed wasn’t as good as the first book or something like that, and it scared me so much that I passed it off to my older sister to read first while I read other books! But now I have half a mind to go up to her and say, “I’m reading this first!” LOL! x) (Especially since she’s the slowest reader in the world — and I’m talking about two months minimum per book! :P)Thank you so much for this amazingly convincing review, Natalia!! I’m definitely bumping this up on my list now because I REALLY want to read more about Ky & all those awesome-sounding supporting characters! 🙂
